Abstract
MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA PROCESSAR UM CONJUNTO DE N SINAIS DE ÁUDIO. A presente invenção refere-se a cada um dentre N sinais de áudio que é filtrado com uma característica única de filtro de decorrelação (38), a característica sendo uma característica linear causal invariável com o tempo no domínio do tempo ou no equivalente do mesmo no domínio da freqüência, e, para cada característica de filtro de decorrelação (38), combinar (40, 44, 46), de uma maneira variável no tempo e na freqüência, seus sinais de entrada (Zi) e de saída (Z-i) para proporcionar um conjunto de N sinais processados (Xi). O conjunto de características de filtro de decorrelação (38) é projetado de modo que todos os sinais de entrada e de saída são aproximadamente e mutuamente decorrelacionados. O conjunto de N sinais de áudio pode ser sintetizado a partir dos M sinais de áudio pela conversão para mais canais, onde M é um ou mais e N é maior do que M.
