Abstract
TRANSMISSãO DE PACOTES EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO USANDO MúLTIPLAS ANTENAS é descrito um método para retransmitir um pacote de dados em um sistema de comunicação sem fio compreendendo a recepção de um elemento de informação de um mapa de conexões, de uma estação transmissora tendo três antenas para conseguir diversidade de transmissão de tempo-espaço, onde o primeiro, segundo e terceiro pacotes de dados são transmitidos por uma primeira, segunda e terceira antenas da estação transmissora, respectivamente. O método também compreende transmitir um sinal de não-reconhecimento à estação transmissora se pelo menos um pacote de dados da estação transmissora não for corretamente decodificado. O método também compreende a recepção dos pacotes de dados da estação transmissora, onde pelo menos dois dos pacotes de dados retransmitidos são transmitidos por antenas diferentes da estação transmissora, e um dos pacotes de dados retransmitido é transmitido pela mesma antena da estação transmissora. Os pacotes de dados de retransmitidos são recebidos com um elemento de informação compreendendo uma contagem de retransmissões associada com o número de retransmissões feitas pela estação transmissora.
