Abstract
SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR ENERGIA ATRAVéS DE VáRIOS ELETRODOS EM UM FORNO A presente invenção refere-se a um método e sistema para estabilizar consumo de energia em múltiplas cargas, ou em cargas multi-fase / únicas. O método e o sistema também compensam desequilíbrio nas cargas multi-fase. Um controlador central monitora reatâncias variáveis nas cargas e identifica situações de flutuação e/ou desequilíbrio de energia e/ou corrente. Ele determina a ação corretiva apropriada pela outras cargas/fases para compensar a alteração ou desequilíbrio de energia e/ou corrente devido à carga problemática e ele emite sinais de controle instruindo controladores de reator variável associados com outras cargas para ajustar de forma correspondente. O método e sistema podem ser aplicados junto a instalações de forno de arco elétrico. Neste contexto, o método e sistema proporcionam um controlador de posição de eletrodo acoplado com o controlador de taxa de alimentação para de modo predicativo antever a introdução de novo material de alimentação e diminuir os eletrodos de modo a impedir a extinção do arco elétrico enquanto os reatores variáveis mantém os pontos de ajuste de energia predeterminados. O controlador de posição pode ser utilizado em vez, ou em conjunto com o sistema de controle de reatância variável para executar a ação corretiva para endereçar as alterações ou desequilíbrios de energia e/ou de corrente. Os reatores variáveis respondem as ordens de magnitude mais rápidos do que o sistema de posicionamento de eletrodo. O sistema e método podem ser empregados para manter um nível predeterminado de desequilíbrio no sistema.
