A presente invenção refere-se a um artigo absorvente incluindo uma camada de cobertura, uma camada protetora e um sistema absorvente disposto entre a camada de cobertura e a camada protetora, o artigo absorvente sendo drapeável e possuindo atributos de absorção necessários para um absorvente higiênico.
