Abstract

APARELHO DE MONITORAçãO DE GáS REMOTO PARA PERFURAçãO DE LEITO DO MAR. Um aparelho de monitoração de gás associado a um sistema de leito do mar remotamente operado, o aparelho incluindo um detector o qual é adaptado de modo a permitir e detecção e/ou a medição em tempo real da interceptação de gás raso em um furo de poço. Em uma forma, o aparelho de monitoração de gás é adequado para uso com uma sonda de perfuração para a perfuração em um leito do mar, a sonda de perfuração incluindo uma coluna de perfuração. O aparelho de monitoração de gás inclui um alojamento com uma câmara de coleta ali, para o recebimento de retornos de fluido de perfuração os quais resultam de uma operação de perfuração. O aparelho ainda inclui um conduto de descarga dos retornos de fluido de perfuração a partir da câmara de coleta, a câmara de coleta e o conduto de descarga sendo configurados de modo que o fluido de perfuração seja descarregado em um fluxo estratificado, o qual inclui uma fase contendo predominantemente gás dissolvido e, se presente, uma fase gasosa livre. Um sensor de gás está associado ao conduto de descarga e posicionado de modo a detectar qualquer gás na fase contendo predominantemente gás dissolvido e transmitir o sinal de concentração de gás medida em tempo real para uma estação operando na superfície. Em uma outra forma, o aparelho inclui um conjunto de sonda de monitoração de gás adequado para uso com uma sonda de perfuração para a perfuração em um eleito do mar, o conjunto de sonda de monitoração de gás incluindo um alojamento afixável a uma extremidade de uma coluna de perfuração da sonda e o qual inclui um sensor de gás que tem uma fase de sensor de gás dentro do alojamento.
