Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA O CONDICIONAMENTO DE UM SENSOR PARA MEDIR O POTENCIAL DE OXI-REDUçãO". Um método e aparelho para o condicionamento de um sensor para medir um potencial de oxi-redução de uma solução aquosa de tal modo que o tempo para se obter uma medição de potencial de oxi-redução confiável seja substancialmente reduzido. Tal condicionamento é com freqüência necessária quando o sensor se move de um equilíbrio potenciométrico (por exemplo, quando o sensor é limpo, quando o sensor é exposto ao ar, ou coisa do gênero). O método pode compreender ainda as etapas de gerar uma corrente através de um eletrodo de medição e de um eletrodo referência do sensor por uma duração de tempo. Uma medição de potencial de oxiredução confiável pode ser feita quando a tensão elétrica através do eletrodo de medição e do eletrodo de referência se estabiliza após esta duração d tempo. Dependendo da solução aquosa, o valor estabilizado poderá ser constante ou varável.
