Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA A GERAçãO DE UM SINAL MULTICANAIS CODIFICADO E DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA A DECODIFICAçãO DE UM SINAL MULTICANAIS CODIFICADO". Em um codificador multicanais que gera vários diferentes conjuntos de parâmetros para a reconstrução de um sinal de saída multicanais usando pelo menos um canal de transmissão, a taxa de dados (26) é escrita (25) de maneira que dois conjuntos de parâmetros sejam decodificáveis de maneira independente entre si. Assim, um decodificador multicanais pode pular um conjunto de parâmetros marcado como opcional e/ou ter um número de versão maior ao ler a taxa de dados e ainda realizar uma reconstrução multicanais válida usando um conjunto de dados marcado como obrigatório ou um conjunto de dados com um número de versão suficientemente baixo. Isto obtém um conceito flexível codificador/decodificador, adequado para futuras atualizações, caracterizadas por retro compatibilidade e confiabilidade.
