Abstract

"MéTODOS DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO E COMPONENTES PARA FACILITAR A COMPATIBILIDADE ENTRE DIVERSOS TIPOS DE REDES". A presente invenção refere-se a redes de área local sem fio (WLANs) e à interoperabilidade de redes de diferentes tipos ou conforme diferentes padrões, bem como a métodos e aparelhos que permitam que unidade de transmissão e recepção sem fio (WTRU) multimodal, que é capaz de operar em mais de um tipo de rede, entregue de um tipo de rede para outro sem prejudicar o serviço, utilizando mecanismo e fluxos de informação implementados em novo blco de protocolo.
