Abstract
"MéTODO PARA OPERAR CéLULAS DE ELETRóLISE DE ALTA INTENSIDADE DO TIPO HALL-HéROULT, E, SISTEMA PARA UMA CONEXãO ELéTRICA E COMPENSAçãO MAGNéTICA EM UMA OU MAIS SéRIES DE CéLULAS DE ELETRóLISE DE ALTA INTENSIDADE DO TIPO HALL-HéROULT". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e a um sistema para a conexão elétrica entre as sucessivas células (cadinhos) arranjadas em série para a produção de alumínio por meio de eletrólise do alumínio dissolvido na criolita fundida, por meio do processo de Hall-H. A invenção é aplicada a séries de células arranjadas transversalmente ao eixo das (linhas de) séries e que operam a uma corrente maior do que 300 kA e, possivelmente, acima de 600 kA. A presente invenção combina as diferentes vantagens dos conceitos de projeto conhecidos em soluções técnicas originais eficientes para cadinhos grandes. A solução otimiza o campo magnético resultante e os parâmetros de desempenho de barramento, como queda de voltagem, carga, distribuição de corrente, distribuição e níveis médios de campo magnético, distância entre-fileira, soluções de anodisador e espaçp físico para as exigências de barramento.
