Abstract
REGULAGEM DE PRESSãO EXPIRATóRIA EM UM VENTILADOR. A invenção diz respeito a um ventilador que distribui um fluxo de gás em uma via aérea de um usuário, e comunica um fluxo de gás proveniente da via aérea do usuário de uma maneira controlada. O ventilador inclui um conduíte (1, 3) que carrega um fluxo de gás proveniente da via aérea de um paciente, uma primeira válvula (7) acoplada no conduíte e adaptada para controlar uma pressão ou taxa de fluxo de gás eliminado pelo conduíte, um primeiro sensor (10) acoplado no conduíte e adaptado para monitorar uma pressão do gás no conduíte, e um controlador (12) adaptado para controlar a primeira válvula com base em uma saída do primeiro sensor. Um restritor (8) é provido no conduíte entre o sensor de pressão e o paciente de maneira tal que um primeiro volume seja definido no conduíte entre a primeira válvula e o restritor, e um segundo volume seja definido no conduíte entre o paciente e o restritor. O controlador controla a atuação da primeira válvula com base em uma pressão do primeiro volume monitorado pelo primeiro sensor.
