Abstract

Processo para a polimerização em fase gasosa de olefinas. O presente invento descreve um processo para a polimerização em fase gasosa de uma ou mais <244>-olefinas na presença de um sistema catalítico, o processo compreendendo: a) contatar de forma contínua uma ou mais de ditas <244>-olefinas com dito sistema catalítico num reator de prepolimerização, em que a reação é executada em meio liquido a uma temperatura variando de 23 a 50°C; b) alimentar continuamente o prepolímero obtido a partir da etapa (a) em um reator de fase gasosa tendo zonas de polimerização interconectadas, em que as partículas poliméricas em crescimento fluem para cima através de uma primeira zona de polimerização (elevadora) sob condições de fluidização rápida ou de transporte, deixam dita zona elevadora e entram numa segunda zona de polimerização (abaixadora) através da qual elas fluem para baixo sob a ação da gravidade, deixam dita zona abaixadora e são reintroduzidas na zona elevadora, estabelecendo assim uma circulação de polímero entre as zonas elevadora e abaixadora, em que o polímero obtido a partir da etapa (a) é continuamente alimentado a uma seção de dita zona elevadora compreendendo uma velocidade de gás ascendente maior que 3,0 m/s.
