Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE CODIFICAçãO DE SOM E MéTODO DE CODIFICAçãO DE SOM. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de codificação de som tendo uma estrutura escalonável monofónico/estéreo e capaz de codificar eficientemente som estéreo mesmo quando a correlação entre os sinais de canais de um sinal estéreo é pequena. Em um bloco de codificação de camada de núcleo (110) desse dispositivo, uma seção de geração de sinal monofónico (III) gera um sinal monofónico do sinal de som de primeiro e segundo canal, uma seção de codificação de sinal monofónico (112) codifica o sinal monofónico e uma seção de decodificação de sinal monofónico (113) maior do que um sinal monofónico decodificado dos dados codificados de sinais monofónicos e entrega o mesmo para um bloco de codificação de camada de expansão (120). No bloco de codificação de camada de expansão (120), uma seção de sintetização de sinal de predição de primeiro canal (122) sintetiza um sinal de predição de primeiro canal do sinal monofónico decodificado e um parâmetro de digitalização de filtro de predição de primeiro canal e uma seção de sintetização de sinal de predição de segundo canal (126) sintetiza um sinal de predição de segundo canal do sinal monofónico decodificado e o parâmetro de digitalização de filtro de predição de segundo canal.
