Abstract

ARTIGO. Artigos reforçados com fibra que possuem utilidade para resistência balística a múltiplos projéteis de alta velocidade, absorção de impacto e resistência à penetração em armadura corporal, capacetes, coletes peitorais, assentos de helicópteros, escudos contra estilhaços e outras aplicações. Os artigos são compreendidos de pelo menos um laminado frontal e um segundo laminado, com o laminado frontal compreendendo pelo menos uma dobra de espessura de fibra inorgânica forte em uma matriz polimérica e o segundo laminado compreendendo pelo menos uma dobra de espessura de fibras poliméricas fortes em uma matriz polimérica.
