Abstract

PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE UM PRODUTO SEMELHANTE A MONOFILAMENTO. A invenção se refere a um processo para fabricação de um produto semelhante a monofilamento a partir de um precursor contendo vários filamentos contínuos de poliolefina, compreendendo exposição do precursor a uma temperatura dentro da faixa de ponto de fusão da poliolefina por um tempo suficiente para fundir, pelo menos parcialmente, as fibras adjacentes e estirando simultaneamente o precursor a uma razão de tração de pelo menos 2,8. Um produto semelhante a monofilamento pode ser fabricado com o processo de acordo com a invenção mostrando propriedades de tensão aperfeiçoadas; o que o torna muito apropriado as aplicações, por exemplo, como linha de pesca.
