Abstract
MéTODO DE CONFORMAR A SUPERFìCIE DE UMA PEçA ANODICAMENTE POLARIZADA PELA AçãO DE DISSOLUçãO ELETROQUìMICA, E, APARELHO DE USINAGEM ELETROQUìMICA. Um aparelho e método de usinagem eletroquímica utilizam um arranjo estático controlado por computador de seções de catodo eletricamente isoladas para energizar de forma seletiva e individual os eletrodos com o propósito de conformar a superfície de uma peça. O arranjo compactamente agrupado de eletrodos pode ser formado por arames individuais, como um exemplo. Os produtos residuais de reação podem ser controlados de maneira a melhorar a precisão de usinagem. Os eletrodos podem ser compostos de materiais capazes de gerar uma camada de óxido ou que resistem a dissolução eletrolítica para combater o problema de erosão cruzada em condições estritamente espaçadas. Uma abordagem alternativa para remediar erosão cruzada é estender o alcance do isolamento no espaço da folga entre a ferramenta e a peça.
