Abstract

APARELHO E MéTODO DE SUTURA ENDOSCóPICA. Um conjunto de sutura ajustável é fornecido, o qual pode ser empregado em vários procedimentos cirúrgicos para direcionar e/ou manter tecido e/ou músculo juntos. O conjunto de sutura pode incluir uma trava de sutura ou tensionador que é fixado de forma ajustada a dois ou mais comprimentos de sutura para fornecer a um cirurgião a capacidade de manter tecido ou músculo em uma posição fixa e subseqüentemente re-ajustar o conjunto de sutura para manter o tecido ou músculo em uma posição fixa diferente. O conjunto de sutura pode incluir duas ou mais suturas tendo uma âncora conectada a uma extremidade de cada sutura para ancorar a sutura ao tecido ou ao músculo desejado. Um dispositivo de sutura endoscópica é fornecido para carregar uma pluralidade de suturas tal que múltiplas suturas podem ser localizadas no tecido ou músculo durante uma única intubação do dispositivo.
