Abstract

PREVISãO RáPIDA INTRA MODO PARA UM CODIFICADOR DE VìDEO. São fornecidos codificadores de vídeo e métodos correspondentes de codificação de dados de vídeo para uma imagem que é divisível em macro blocos. Um codificador de vídeo inclui um codificador (400) para realização da seleção de intra modo quando da decodificação de um macro bloco atual pelo teste de um primeiro subconjunto de intra modos para computar um custo de distorção de taxa, e utilizando o custo de distorção de taxa para determinar se é desejável se encerrar a seleção intra modo e quais intra modos adicionais, se algum, devem ser examinados com relação ao macro bloco atual. O melhor inter modo também pode ser utilizado para realizar a intra previsão.
