Abstract

ANáLOGOS DE POLIAMINA COMO AGENTES TERAPêUTICOS PARA DOENçAS OCULARES. A presente descrição refere-se a métodos de tratamento de doenças oculares usando análogos de poliamina, particularmente análogos de poliamina conformacionalmente restritos. As doenças oculares a serem tratadas incluem uma variedade de distúrbios oftálmicos caracterizados por angiogênese e/ou neovascularização, incluindo degeneração macular. Ambos degeneração macular úmida e degeneração macular seca podem ser tratadas usando os métodos da invenção. A invenção também provê formulações oftálmicas, incluindo formulações de liberação sustentada e dispositivos de liberação sustentada.
