Abstract
DISPOSITIVO PARA O CONTROLE DE UMIDADE RELATIVA EM UM MEIO AMBIENTE. Um dispositivo para o controle de umidade relativa em um meio ambiente com uma composição umectante solidificada. A composição umectante solidificada é produzida a partir de um sal umectante, e um carreador. O umectante solidificado pode ser formado em um tablete com a ajuda de um aglutinante, ou pode estar contido dentro de um material de feltro termoconformado, um sachê, ou um recipiente permeável a água. Em uma forma de realização preferida, o sachê é produzido de um material de poliéster/papel/polietileno micro-perfurado. Os sais umectantes preferidos incluem CaCl~ 2~, K~ 2~C0~ 3~, LiCl~ 2~, NaCl, K~ 2~SO~ 4~, e combinações destes. Uma forma de realização preferida da presente invenção inclui o uso de um ou mais de: um agente antimicrobiano, carvão ativado, um orgânico volátil, um adsorvente da umidade e um absorvente de oxigênio, em combinação com o sal umectante solidificado.
