Abstract

MéTODOS E SISTEMAS PARA PROGNóSTICO E TRATAMENTO DE TUMORES SóLIDOS. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos, sistemas e equipamento para o prognóstico e tratamento de carcinoma de células renais (RCC) ou outros tumores sólidos. Genes de prognóstico de resultados clínicos de um tumor sólido podem ser identificados de acordo com a presenteinvenção. Os perfis de expressão desses genes em células mononucleares de sangue periférico (PBMCs) de pacientes que tenham o tumor sólido estão correlacionados com o resultado clínico desses pacientes. Exemplos de genes de prognóstico de RCC são ilustrados nas Tabelas 2 e 3. Esses genes podem ser usados como marcadores substitutos para predizer o resultado clínico de um paciente de interesse com RCC. Esses genes também podem ser usados para a seleção de um tratamento favorável para um paciente de interesse com RCC.
