Abstract

DISPOSITIVO PARA ATENUAR UMA LÂMPADA PARA QUE UMA QUANTIDADE DE LUZ SE ENCONTRE EM UM LOCAL PREVIAMENTE SELECIONADO. Descreve-se um dispositivo para atenuar automaticamente a luz com cargas eletrônicas e magnéticas utilizadas para lâmpadas fluorescentes ou de alta intensidade de descarga. Uma corrente limitante do capacitor variável é agregada nas lâmpadas, proporcionando os controles de intensidade de iluminação sem alterar a freqúência de operação da carga. Vários capacitores são colocados em linha comum com a lâmpada ou as lâmpadas. Os capacitores são comutados com transiente lento para alterar a corrente recebida pela lâmpada. O nível de iluminação pode ser controlado variando-se a voltagem de alimentação, mediante controles de comunicação por linha de potência, com um sensor de iluminação, ou por meio de um controle de potenciômetro manual.
