Abstract
PROCESSO DE DIISOBUTILENO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de produção de dilsobutileno a partir de isobutileno. O processo compreende por isobutileno em contato com um adsorvente sólido para remover impurezas de enxofre e/ou nitrogênio do isobutileno, seguido pela oligomerização do isobutileno a diisobutileno usando uma resina de troca iônica do tipo ácido sulfônico. O adsorvente sólido remove as impurezas de enxofre e/ou nitrogênio do isobutileno e surpreendentemente aumenta tanto atividade de catalisador quanto a vida de catalisador da resina de troca jônica do tipo ácido sulfônico.
