Abstract
MÉTODO PARA FORMAR UM ARTIGO EXTRUSADO, E, ARTIGO EXTRUSADO. Um método para co-extrusar uma corrente de massa fundida inicial por pelo menos um inserto de matriz perfilado, que é amoldado para formar uma corrente de massa fundida não linear da corrente de massa fundida inicial entrante. A entrada de inserto de matriz tem uma abertura não linear entre um limite superior e um limite inferior. O inserto de matriz está posicionado assim para redirecionar o fluxo de uma ou mais das correntes de massa fundida ou regiões da corrente de massa fundida entrante. A corrente de massa fundida inicial na entrada de inserto de matriz é geralmente redirecionada na direção transversal ao trajeto de fluxo original da corrente de massa fundida de material. A corrente de massa fundida não linear formada na entrada de inserto de matriz então converge dentro do inserto de matriz em uma corrente de massa fundida substancialmente mais linear ou retangular na abertura de saída de inserto de matriz. Na abertura de saída de inserto de matriz, pelo menos uma camada ou porção da corrente de massa fundida inicial foi dividido, em proporções diferentes em zonas diferentes na direção de largura ou transversal das proporções extrusadas em zonas diferentes na direção de largura ou transversal do material extrusado. A invenção também é dirigida aos artigos extrusados.
