Abstract
CONTROLE DE DESLIZAMENTO DE RETARDADOR. A presente invenção se refere a um veículo a motor montado com um sistema de controle (30) para aplicação de efeito de frenagem para freios principais (de base) (20) atuando sobre cada roda (8, 9) do veículo, quando o efeito de frenagem proporcionado por intermédio de freios auxiliares (2a, 10), atuando sobre as rodas de tração (8), é perdido ou significativamente reduzido. Perda súbita de força de frenagem auxiliar pode ser percebida como habilidade de tração muito ruim do veículo, uma situação que tipicamente acontece no caso de baixa fricção entre rodovia e pneus ou se os freios auxiliares (2a, 10) estão controlados para baixo para evitar parada de motor (2). Por intermédio da utilização de um sistema de controle (30), estas situações podem ser evitadas. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido sistema de controle (30) está caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende recursos de detecção, recursos de sinalização e recursos para computação e aplicação (35) do efeito de frenagem para os freios principais (20) para compensar para a perda de força de frenagem auxiliar. Também está apresentado um método para aplicação de efeito de frenagem para os freios principais (20) de um veículo a motor. A presente invenção também se refere a método de aplicação de força de retardamento para freios principais (de base) (20) em um veículo a motor.
