Abstract

PONTO DE ACESSO. Um ponto de acesso (21) de uma rede de acesso móvel não licenciada é fornecido com uma interface fisica analógica (26), organizada para comunicação com equipamento (60) do sistema de telefonia de plano antigo - POTS. Um conversor (22) conectado a interface fisica analógica (26) converte sinalização de POTS (65) em sinalização (25) para um sistema de comunicações móveis, e vice - versa. O conversor de POTS para móvel (22) é conectado a um conversor (24) preferencialmente de acordo com padrão UMA para empacotamento e desempacotamento de sinalização de sistema de comunicações móveis (25) em pacotes IP (35). O conversor de POTS para móvel (22) é fornecido com uma identidade (23) que é interpretável pela rede de comunicações móveis. Serviços de POTS não diretamente disponíveis através da rede de comunicação móvel são preferencialmente implementados no ou em conexão com o conversor de POTS para móvel (22).
