Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE N-HENEICOSANONA. A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a preparação de n-heneicosano. O processo compreende (a) reagir 2,4-alcanoanediona com 1-bromooctadecano em etanol absoluto usando 18-coroa-6 como o catalisador para produzir 2-heneicosanona; e (b) reduzir a referida 2-heneicosanona usando hidrato de hidrazina e hidróxido de potássio em etileno glicol para se obter n-heneicosano.
