Abstract

MéTODO PARA A CONSOLIDAçãO DE PEDRAS ORNAMENTAIS, DISPOSITIVO E INSTALAçãO RELEVANTE. O método para consolidação de pedras ornamentais similares a placa, similares a fatia, ou similares a elemento modular compreende: a impregnação por meio da pressão criada no ambiente de tratamento com uma solução de vidro solúvel, no qual o material sendo tratado é mergulhado por tempo bastante para a penetração total nas fissuras e micro-porosidades da superfície deste; caracterizado pelo fato de que apresenta as seguintes etapas: - um pré-tratamento do material por exaustão; -uma permanência da etapa de pré-tratamento por tempo bastante, para extrair gases, vapores e pós existentes nas referidas fissuras e micro-porosidades; - uma injeção da solução de impregnação com uma solução de vidro solúvel, e manutenção da câmara de tratamento sob vácuo durante a injeção e na etapa seguinte de impregnação. A pressão absoluta de pré-tratamento é preferivelmente de 0,2-0,3 mbar; para a injeção é preferivelmente entre 10 e 100 mbar, enquanto para a impregnação é preferivelmente mantida a uma pressão próxima à pressão de corrente da solução de vidro solúvel sendo usada. A instalação sendo usada e o dispositivo para o acondicionamento e manuseio dos materiais a serem tratados são também descritos.
