Abstract

MÉTODO PARA APERFEIÇOAR A EFICIÊNCIA DE REFéGIOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para aperfeiçoar a eficiência de colheitas de refúgio na prevenção do desenvolvimento de insetos que sejam resistentes a um inseticida. O método envolve o uso de um atrativo para atrair insetos para o refúgio e aumentar a população de sobreviventes. As colheitas protegidas incluem algodão e milho. A colheita de refúgio pode ser a mesma colheita, uma colheita diferente ou uma população de plantas de ocorrência natural.
