Abstract

Nó DE ACESSO PARA COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO, MéTODO PARA MAPEAR, PARA TERMINAIS SE COMUNICANDO SEM FIO ATRAVéS DE DISPOSITIVOS DE PONTO DE CONEXãO COM UM Nó DE ACESSO, UM ENDEREçO (MAC) DE CONTROLE DE ACESSO DE MìDIA ORIGINAL DE UM TERMINAL PARA UM ENDEREçO DE MAC VIRTUAL, E, REDE. Em uma rede, terminais se comunicam sem fio, através de dispositivos de ponto de conexão, com um nó de acesso. No nó de acesso, um endereço de controle de acesso de mídia (MAC) original de um terminal é mapeado em um único, endereço de MAC virtual administrado localmente. Este endereço de MAC virtual tem uma porção particular indicando um uso unitário específico incluindo campos que indicam um índice de porta para ao dispositivo de ponto de conexão através do qual o respectivo terminal se comunica com o nó de acesso, e um índice de MAC para o endereço de controle de acesso à midia original do terminal.
