Abstract

SISTEMA, MéTODO E APARELHO PARA HABILITAR O SURFE EM UM CANAL DURANTE O ARMAZENAMENTO TEMPORáRIO E GRAVAçãO DE CANAIS PREFERIDOS. Um sistema (100), método e aparelho (101) para surfar em canais enquanto se preserva o conteúdo em um canal preferido incluem o armazenamento temporário e opcionalmente a gravação de um canal Prime usando um primeiro sintonizador (108) enquanto se surfa em canais disponíveis usando um segundo sintonizador (109) . Depois de retornar para o canal preferido, o conteúdo da programação do canal preferido continua a ser visualizado de uma maneira comutada por tempo. O armazenamento temporário simultâneo do canal Prime depois de mudar os canais de visualização é feito de tal modo que o armazenamento temporário do canal Prime inclua uma gravação completa do conteúdo recebido sem nenhuma perda de informação de programação.
