Abstract

INTERRUPTOR ELéTRICO DE ALTA AMPERAGEM E MéTODO DE COMUTAçãO DE CORRENTE ELéTRICA ELEVADA. Trata-se de um método e um sistema para um interruptor elétrico de alta amperagem. O interruptor pode ser apropriado para a comutação, a retificação ou o bloqueio de corrente contínua na faixa de um a mil ampéres por módulo ou conjunto. Isto é feito com uma eficiência elevada tal que produz calor relativamente insignificante; de maneira tal que requer pouca ou nenhuma refrigeração por convecção ou por radiação. O calor relativamente baixo que é gerado no processo é afastado de maneira completamente eficaz pelos cabos elétricos conectados ao dispositivo.
