Abstract

MéTODO DE PROTEçãO DE TANQUES DE COMBUSTìVEL FABRICADOS COM MATERIAIS COMPOSTOS CONTRA DESCARGAS ELéTRICAS. A invenção se refere a um método de proteção de um conjunto de dispositivos metálicos (13, 15) dispostos dentro de um tanque de combustível (11), fabricado total ou parcialmente com materiais compostos, tal como um tanque localizado em uma aeronave, contra descargas elétricas. O método da invenção compreende as seguintes etapas: a) a provisão de um elemento isolante (21) nos pontos nos quais os dispositivos metálicos (13, 15) são fixados/presos ao tanque de combustível (11), a fim de assegurar que os ditos dispositivos sejam eletricamente isolados em relação ao tanque de combustível (11); b) a provisão de insertos isolantes (23) nos dispositivos metálicos lineares (12), tais como tubos, de tal maneia a dividir os mesmos em partes (31, 33, 35) que são isoladas entre si; e c) a provisão de uma conexão com uma subestrutura metálica de resistência muito baixa (25) em cada das partes isoladas (31, 33, 35,15).
