Abstract

EQUIPAMENTO E MéTODO PARA A SINTETIZAçãO DE TRêS CANAIS DE SAìDA USANDO DOIS CANAIS DE ENTRADA. Para a sintetização de pelo menos três canais de saída usando dois canais estéreo de entrada, os canais estéreo de entrada são analisados (15) para detectar as componentes de sinal que ocorrem em ambos os canais de entrada. Um gerador de sinais (16) opera para introduzir pelo menos uma parte das componentes do sinal detectado no segundo canal (12b) associado ao segundo alto-falante em um esquema pretendido de alto-falantes, que está posicionado entre um primeiro e um terceiro alto-falante no esquema de alto-falantes. Quando, entretanto, o envio de todas as componentes do sinal detectado resultar em uma situação de clipping, então somente parte das componentes do sinal detectado é enviada ao segundo canal como um canal central real e o restante é localizado no primeiro e no terceiro canais como um canal central fantasma.
