Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO, COMPOSIçãO DE TINTA, COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO DE PAPEL, E, MéTODO DE REFINO DE CAULIM". São descritas composições de caulim, tais como composições de caulim sedimentário fino beneficiado. Os caulins sedimentários finos beneficiados podem ser obtidos a partir do leito superior do depósito de caulim de Rio Capim. As composições podem ter pelo menos uma propriedade selecionada de um baixo teor de ferro e um baixo índice de cristalinidade de Hinckley, tal como Fe~ 2~O~ 3~ em uma quantidade menor que cerca de 0,8% em peso em relação ao peso total do teor de sólidos, em que o índice de cristalinidade de Hinckley do caulim é menor que cerca de 0,5. Também descritos são os produtos obtidos destes, tais como composições de tinta e de revestimento de papel.
