Abstract
MECANISMO ANTI-SIFãO PARá VáLVULAS DE HIDROCEFALIA, consiste essencialmente de um mecanismo para utilização em válvulas de hidrocefalia para a contenção de fluxo em sistemas de derivação liquórica utilizados em tratamentos na área médica, utilizando o principio de diferencial de pressão, onde o dito mecanismo anti-sifão (M) deve estar presente dentro de urna caixa de silicone e recebe o líquor originado no ventrículo e direciona-o para uma tubagem (T) que o conduz para região distal do usuário, no intuito de evitar a hiperdrenagem deste fluido devido aos diferenciais de pressões ocasionados por fatores fisiológicos e posturais do usuário através da atuação da membrana (8). O presente mecanismo (M) destaca-se por proporcionar um caminho concêntrico do fluido, utilizando o escoamento inverso quando comparado ao escoamento nas válvulas neurológicas no estado da técnica e possuindo componentes e processo de fabricação que permita um custo acessível a todos os sistemas de saúde.ANTI-SIPHANE MECHANISM FOR HYDROCEPHALIA VALVES, consists essentially of a mechanism for use in hydrocephalus valves for flow containment in cerebrospinal fluid systems used in medical treatment, using the pressure differential principle, where said anti-seizure mechanism -siphon (M) must be present inside a silicone box and receives the cerebrospinal fluid from the ventricle and directs it to a tubing (T) that leads it to the distal region of the user in order to avoid overdrainage of this fluid due to pressure differentials caused by physiological and postural factors of the user through membrane performance (8). The present mechanism (M) stands out for providing a concentric fluid path using reverse flow when compared to the flow in neurological valves in the state of the art and having components and manufacturing process that allows a cost affordable to all healthcare systems. .
