Abstract

"SISTEMA E PROCESSO PARA IDENTIFICAR E REMOVER SOFTWARE POTENCIALMENTE INDESEJADO". Um sistema e um processo para identificar e remover software potencialmente indesejado. Um mecanismo é proporcionado, que identifica programas suspeitos para um usuário e permite que o usuário impeça a execução dos programas suspeitos, em de fato apagá-los. Em uma modalidade, os dados de varredura identificando o software potencialmente indesejado são exibidos em uma GUI, que permite que o usuário iniba a sua execução continuada. Por exemplo, qualquer software que não conste de uma lista de aplicações / processos benignos, conhecidos, pode ser identificado como potencialmente indesejado. De modo similar, software que apresente um ou mais comportamentos suspeitos pode ser assim identificado, permitindo que o usuário distinga entre software normal e suspeito, sem alterar, irreversivelmente, o sistema do usuário.
