Abstract

"CONECTOR". Trata-se de um conector (10) para segurar um membro alongado tal como um cabo umbilical (12) junto a um membro de recepção fêmea tal como um tubo I (14) que possui uma parte de reforço de curvatura alongada (25) e uma parte de fixação (26) conectada com a parte de reforço de curvatura, e uma passagem contínua (36) se estende através da parte de reforço de curvatura e da parte de fixação. A parte de fixação possui um ou mais membros de fixação (por exemplo, esferas de aço (40)) que podem ser deslocadas radialmente para o exterior para engate com a face interna do tubo I, deste modo segurando o conector junto ao tubo I (Fig. 1).
