Abstract

SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA DETECçãO DE VAZAMENTO EM TUBULAçõES DE TRANSPORTE DE FLUIDOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema e um método para detecção de vazamento em tubulações de transporte de fluidos, destinado a monitorar e detectar qualquer vazamento em qualquer tipo de tubulação que transporte por seu interior qualquer tipo de fluido que contenha elementos constituintes passíveis de se transformarem em elementos traçadores radioativos. O sistema compreende basicamente uma pluralidade de emissores de nêutrons (1) e uma pluralidade de detectores de radiação gama (2) espaçados, intercalados e instalados na superfície externa de uma tubulação (T) de transporte ao longo de seu comprimento. Os sinais tanto dos emissores de nêutrons (1) quanto dos detectores de radiação gama (2) são radiotransmitidos até uma estação (5) de controle, onde são compilados por uma unidade de processamento e exibido, em tempo real, as condições da tubulação (T).
