A invenção refere-se a um conector (1) com uma caixa de conector (2) e uma alavanca de trava (3), nela alojada de modo giratório, a qual serve para união do conector com um conector conjugado e é travável em sua posição final na caixa de conector (2), de tal forma que uma região (4) da alavanca de trava (3) passa a repousar atrás de um fecho (5), elasticamente unido na caixa de conector (2), sobre uma parede (6) da caixa de conector. Para a redução de ruídos de chocalho, um batente elástico (7) é previsto na parede ou na região da alavanca de trava, o qual pressiona a alavanca de trava de encontro ao fecho e, com isto, reduz a folga de trava.
