Abstract

"MONTAGEM VERTICAL DE CONJUNTO DE PINçA DE FREIO A DISCO PNEUMáTICO". A presente invenção refere-se a um freio a disco de operação pneumática ou elétrica, em particular um freio a disco pneumático para veículos comerciais, no qual uma estrutura de montagem que suporta a pinça de freio e uma chapa de torque que prende a chapa de montagem em um eixo de veículo estão dispostos de modo que os fixadores que prendem a estrutura de montagem à chapa de torque sejam orientados em pelo menos um plano que é essencialmente perpendicular a um eixo geométrico longitudinal do eixo. Em comparação com os freios a disco anteriores com fixadores orientados longitudinalmente, esta disposição resulta em um freio a disco mais leve, mais simples, menos dispendioso e que pode ser mais facilmente acessado para fins de reparo, eliminando o deslocamento da parte de furo de montagem da chapa de torque para desobstruir um flange de eixo, minimizando ou eliminando a necessidade de girar o conjunto de freio para longe de uma posição ótima em torno do eixo, a fim de deixar espaço para componentes de veículo adjacentes, e coloca as cabeças de fixador em locais de acesso mais fácil.
