Abstract

"FORMAçãO DE IMAGEM CARDìACA TRIDIMENSIONAL UTILIZANDO RECONSTRUçãO DE CONTORNO DE ULTRA-SOM". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a modelagem de uma estrutura anatómica, que inclui adquirir uma pluralidade de imagens ultra-sónicas da estrutura anatómica utilizando um sensor ultra-sónico, em uma respectiva pluralidade de posições espaciais do sensor ultra-sónico. As coordenadas de localização e de orientação do sensor ultra-sónico são medidas em cada uma da pluralidade de posições espaciais. Os contornos de interesse que referem-se às características da estrutura anatómica são marcados em uma ou mais das imagens ultra-sónicas. Um modelo tridimensional (3-D) da estrutura anatómica é construído, com base nos contornos de interesse e nas coordenadas de localização e de orientação medidas.
