Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE IMAGEM GRAVADO OPTICAMENTE VARIáVEL". Um método e imagem feitos pelo método revelado onde flocos de pigmento óptico magneticamente alinhável em um transportador transparente são aplicados a um substrato e são alinhados aplicando um campo magnético ao substrato. Os flocos de pigmento alinham-se ao longo de linhas de campo e uma ferramenta para imprimir ou riscar os flocos é aplicada a uma sub-região do substrato para realinhar ou remover flocos de uma região desejada. Por exemplo, uma ferramenta de riscar pode ser usada para gravar uma assinatura ou outras marcas dentro dos flocos alinhados magneticamente. Os flocos são então secados e a imagem é preservada com características ópticas e tácteis.
