Abstract

Segundo o pedido de adição, constituído pelo implante (1), dotado, na parte superior de seu corpo (2), da cavidade roscada (6) delimitada pela base hexagonal (5), o qual recebe leve ressalto anelar (7) contornante de sua borda superior, a partir do qual o corpo (2) inicia gradual e acentuada conificação, recebendo, em seu trecho superior, filetes de rosca (8) que são delimitados por um degrau (9), a partir do qual o corpo (2) recebe uma seqtiência de filetes de roscas helicoidais (10) de maior largura e altura e em passo de acentuada distância, sendo que, em sua parte inferior, o corpo (2) já com diâmetro reduzido em função da conificação gradual, sofre um chanfro abrupto de modo a formar um terminal pontiagudo (11). Pela conicidade acentuada de seu corpo (2), o implante (1) é fixado mais eficazmente pelo trecho com os filetes de rosca (8) junto à superfície cortical do osso palatino após o aperto. Pela maior largura e altura e passo distanciado dos filetes de roscas helicoidais (10), o corpo (2) penetra com maior intensidade no osso maxilar ou mandibular, bem como é acentuada a penetração inferior, através de seu terminal pontiagudo (11).
