Abstract

"MOTOR DE TEMPO VARIáVEL". Um motor de tempo variável inclui um eixo de pivó que fica rotativamente suportado em uma caixa de manivela de modo a ficar rotativo sobre um eixo geométrico excêntrico a um eixo de manivela e que é conectado a uma biela de controle de modo que uma força rotacional reduzida a uma razão de redução de 1/2 seja transmitida a partir do eixo de manivela para o eixo de pivó. Um eixo de came de um mecanismo de operação de válvula montado em uma porção superior de um corpo de motor e o eixo de pivó são operacionalmente conectados um ao outro. Deste modo, torna-se possível diminuir o número de peças do mecanismo de operação de válvula, aumentar a velocidade rotacional, e ainda reduzir o ruído de ordem mecânica.
