Abstract

ESPUMAS DE AMIDO RESISTENTES A TEMPERATURAS CORRESPONDENTES A FORNO CONVENCIONAL DOMéSTICO, FORNO DE INDúSTRIA ALIMENTìCIA E FORNO DOMéSTICO DE MICROONDAS. A presente invenção diz respeito a uma espuma feita de amido na qual uma fonnulação adequada composta basicamente de água e amido é expandida em alta temperatura para a produção de espumas em forma de embalagens. As espumas possuem superficie externa lisa e rígida e internamente possui alvéolos uniformes e com aberturas pequenas. Tais embalagens são resistentes a diversas faixas de temperaturas, principalmente altas, podendo ser submetidas ao forno convencional doméstico ou de indústria de alimentos e forno de microondas. Foi demonstrado, de acordo com a presente invenção, que a quantidade de água da mistura é um fator primordial para a resistência a temperaturas acima de 40°C das espumas obtidas, sem se deformar. De acordo com o estado da arte, todos os produtos obtidos da(s) técnica(s) anterior(es) necessitam de um revestimento para evitar a queima do material e as embalagens necessitam também de um design especial que propicie sua deformação de forma planejada para não sofrer rasgos durante o aquecimento. Adjuvantes opcionais podem ser adicionados à formulação da espuma inventiva, como plastificantes, espessantes, cargas orgânicas e cargas inorgânicas para aumentar a resistência mecânica das espumas. Pigmentos e corantes podem ser adicionados para diversificar a aparência das espumas e conservantes e complexos de terras raras podem ser adicionados com o objetivo de tornar o produto uma embalagem inteligente. As embalagens podem ser impermeabilizadas com filmes hidrofóbicos para aumentar sua resistência á água.
