Abstract
PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO DE GASES ATRAVéS DO USO DE BIOFILTRO NO CIRCUITO DO PROCESSO, destacando-se esta invenção por trazer ao segmento de tratamento de gases e poluentes em geral, uma solução realmente eficaz e que irá contribuir sobremaneira para a obtenção de bons resultados técnicos e operacionais neste setor. De forma geral, a invenção se refere a uma nova tecnologia de controle da poluição do ar, que se utiliza da ação de microorganismos para oxidar componentes orgânicos voláteis, os gases inorgânicos oxidáveis e os vapores contidos no ar, haja vista serem estes os compostos que geram odores. Consiste de um processo de biofiltração de gases que utiliza um biofiltro (1) através de microorganismos que oxidam os compostos orgânicos a CO~ 2~ e H~ 2~O,sendo que, para tanto, o biofiltro (1) possui características técnicas que incluem um meio poroso e filtrante que torna-se um substrato vivo de ação contínua e que permanece ali por longo período de tempo; sendo que, para manutenção do meio ativo, torna-se necessária a manutenção do controle de umidade e oxigenação.
