Abstract
CONTROLE DE DIREçãO DE CATETER DE IMAGEM DE ULTRA-SOM. A posição de um cateter de imagem em uma estrutura corporal tal como o coração é automaticamente controlada por um manipulador robótico de modo que o campo de visão do mesmo em todos os momentos inclui a extremidade distal de um segundo cateter que é empregado para efetuar o procedimento médico. O processador recebe os sinais provenientes do sensor de posição nos cateteres. O processador utiliza a informação recebida pelos sensores e continuamente determina quaisquer desvios do segundo cateter a partir do campo de visão necessário do cateter de imagem. O processador transmite instruções de compensação ao manipulador robótico, que quanto executadas garantem que o cateter de imagem siga o segundo cateter.
