Abstract
COMPOSIçõES DE EMISSãO DE INFRAVERMELHO DISTANTE E DISPOSITIVO UTILIZANDO AS MESMAS PARA MELHORAR O CONSUMO DE COMBUSTìVEL E O GáS DE EXAUSTãO DE MOTORES DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA Um dispositivo contendo um material de emissão de radiação de infravermelho distante sobre o qual o combustível ou outros fluidos tal como fluido refrigerante pode fluir de forma que a radiação do infravermelho distante seja emitida no fluido liquido ou refrigerante resultando na redução de gás de exaustão tóxico e na melhoria da eficiência de combustão. As composições incluem um material que pode emitir radiação de infravermelho distante, tal como magnetita ou pórfiro de quartzo- feldspato. Geralmente, o material de emissão de radiação do infravermelho distante está contido em uma matriz, de onde a radiação é emitida para dispersar para fora da matriz e para o ambiente ao redor. A matriz preferida é uma composição de vidro embora outros materiais tais como plásticos possam ser usados. Preferivelmente a composição de vidro está na forma de contas de vidro, que podem ser de qualquer formato mas preferivelmente pérolas ou bolas. Também o material de emissão de radiação de infravermelho distante pode ser incorporado em outros materiais tais como plástico transparente, silicone transparente ou contas de fibra de vidro transparentes.
