Abstract

ISOLADOR ODONTOLóGICO Trata-se de um isolador de campo operatório, aplicado na área de odontologia, apresentando-se como um lençol de material borrachóide com design especial, reproduzindo a cavidade bucal de um dos lados (direito ou esquerdo), de forma que proporcione o uso do isolador tanto do lado esquerdo como direito da boca do paciente, com seus arcos dentários, superior e inferior, antagonistas até a altura dos caninos ou pré-molares do lado oposto apresentam em suas cristas "oclusais" várias convexidades, relativas às coroas dentais dos dentes ali presentes, bem como reproduções parciais e totais, de seus fundos de saco por vestibular (superior e inferior), soalho da boca por lingual (inferior) e/ou o palato (superior) respectivamente. Possui limites arestas ou bordas que ficarão sempre fora da boca e que completam sua forma elíptica ou quadrada ou retangular ligeiramente maior que uma cavidade oral aberta e esses limites possuem uma borracha mais espessa como substituição ao uso de um arco convencional. O invento ora proposto, apresenta uma estrutura formada em material borrachóide um pouco mais espesso, acima de 1 mm, estendendo-se por toda a área mais profunda da reprodução tanto do palato e soalho da boca, quanto dos fundos do saco vestibulares inferior e superiores até o encontro de ambos na distal dos molares e na distal dos caninos ou pré-molares do lado oposto. Esse material borrachóide mais espesso não deverá possuir largura inferior a 2mm.
