Abstract
"PROCESSO DE SìNTESE DE NANOCOMPóSITOS DE POLIOLEFINAS DE ULTRA ALTO PESO MOLECULAR, E, NANOCOMPóSITO DE POLIOLEFINA DE ULTRA ALTO PESO MOLECULAR". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de síntese de nanocompósitos de poliolefinas de ultra alto peso molecular e alta performance compreendendo duas etapas de polimerização, em que a primeira etapa consiste na polimerização in situ de uma olefina no espaçamento interlamelar de um filossilicato organofílico, de modo a se obter uma esfoliação eficiente das partículas do filossilicato na matriz polimérica, e a segunda etapa consiste na posterior polimerização de uma olefina realizada no meio compreendendo o nanocompósito de poliolefina obtido na primeira etapa de polimerização, de modo a se obter uma poliolefina de ultra alto peso molecular e com propriedades térmicas, mecânicas e de barreira melhoradas, enquanto mantendo as propriedades óticas."PROCESS OF SYNTHESIS OF ULTRA HIGH-MOLECULAR POLYLEPHINE NANOCOMPOSES, AND ULTRA HIGH-MOLECULAR POLYLEPHINE NANOCOMPOSIT". The present invention relates to a high performance ultra high molecular weight polyolefin nanocomposite synthesis process comprising two polymerization steps, wherein the first step is the in situ polymerization of an olefin in the interlamellar spacing of an organophilic phyllosilicate, to efficiently exfoliate the phyllosilicate particles in the polymeric matrix, and the second step is to further polymerize an olefin carried out in the medium comprising the polyolefin nanocomposite obtained in the first polymerization step to obtain a polyolefin ultra high molecular weight and with improved thermal, mechanical and barrier properties while maintaining optical properties.
